Ministries



     We belive that God has called us together and equipped us in order to send us into the world to proclaim and live the Hope found in Christ Jesus. Through the ministry of every member of Hope, God reaches into people's lives to proclaim good news. our members are invaloved in service both through the church and in their communities. Though it is always changing and evolving, following are some of the ministry opportunities available through Hope Lutheran Church.

Education-
     We have a full range of Christian education opportunities available throughout the year to people of all ages.
     Regular Sunday School begins each Sunday morning at 9:15. Folks ages pre-school through adult have specific classes designed to meet their level and interest. Special events are held at different times throughout the year which encourage cross-generational experience and learning.
     Adults are invited to participate in topical and Biblical studies at different times throught the year. Some classes are led by lay members of the congregation and others by Pastor Flynn.

     Youth also participate in periodic intensive studies designed to help confirm and affirm the faith God has given them, and allow them to grow in Christian living and service.


Service-
Members are encouraged to service others in areas such as:
     Community Soup Kitchen
     Habitat for Humanity
     Women's Emergency Shelter
Together, we also support national and international ministries such as:
     Luthern World Relief
     World Hunger Appeal
     Lutheran Social Services

Special Groups-
There are many special groupe to be a part of such as:
     The Mothers Group
     The Ladies of Hope
     Needlework/crafters group
     Hope Book Club
All special groups are open to anyone interested in learning more.
